Privacy & Terms
These documents govern your use of the Acey platform and the AutopilotPartner Network. By creating an account or using any part of our service, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to both.
Privacy Policy
This policy describes how AutopilotPartner (operating the Acey platform) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data for all users — including service specialists, vehicle owners, fleet operators, and business partners — across all jurisdictions in which we operate.
AutopilotPartner operates the Acey platform and its associated services, including auth.autopilotsecure.com, www.robotaxion.com, and all affiliated domain properties. AutopilotPartner is the data controller responsible for personal information collected through these services.
For all privacy-related enquiries, data access requests, or complaints, contact us at: privacy@avacey.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. Users located in the EU or UK have the right to escalate unresolved complaints to their local data protection authority.
Account and Identity Data
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form only), account type, and any optional profile information you provide. For service specialists, we additionally collect identity verification documents and background check consent records, which are processed through our third-party verification partner. This data is necessary to operate the platform and fulfil our legal obligations.
Location and Service Data
When you are active on the platform as a service provider, we collect location data to match you with nearby service requests. Location is collected only while the app is in active session use and for a brief post-session period for reporting purposes. Vehicle owners and fleet operators share operational location data related to their vehicles as part of the service dispatching function.
Service and Transaction Records
All service sessions generate structured records including timestamp, location, provider identity, task completed, session report, and photo documentation. These records are retained for operational, financial, and dispute resolution purposes. Fleet operators receive copies of service records relating to their vehicles.
Device and Usage Data
We collect standard device and usage data including IP address, browser type, operating system, and interaction patterns within the platform. This data is used for security monitoring, platform improvement, and fraud prevention. We do not use this data for behavioural advertising.
Payment and Earnings Data
Payment details for service specialists are collected through our payment processing partner and are not stored in full on our systems. Earnings records, payout history, and tax documentation are retained for the period required by applicable financial regulation in each jurisdiction.
The Acey platform uses automated systems to support certain platform functions. These include job matching algorithms that pair service requests with available specialists based on location, availability, ratings, and service category; fraud detection and verification systems that analyse session data for inconsistencies; and quality review automation that assists in reviewing submitted photo documentation.
Where we use AI-assisted support tools to respond to user queries, those interactions may be partially or fully handled by an automated system rather than a human agent. Where a query is handled by an automated system, a human review may not automatically follow unless you request it. You have the right to request human review of any automated decision that affects your account, including account suspension, rating adjustments, or session dispute outcomes. To exercise this right, contact support at support@avacey.com.
Automated decisions that have significant effects on your account — including suspension, permanent deactivation, or chargeback of earnings — are subject to human review before becoming final. If you believe an automated decision has been made in error, you may appeal within 14 days of notification.
By using the Acey platform, you acknowledge that the platform may send automated communications — including service updates, scheduling prompts, account notifications, and support follow-ups — that may be generated or delivered by our intelligent assistance systems. These communications are part of the normal service you receive as an active account holder and are intended to help you get the most from the platform.
Note on support interactions: When you contact AVAVAcey support, your query may be initially received and processed by an intelligent assistance system. You will be informed if your issue is being handled without direct human involvement. You may at any point request to escalate to a human team member.
United States (CCPA / State Privacy Laws)
For users located in the United States, our data practices are subject to applicable federal and state privacy law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendments under CPRA where applicable. California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (Acey does not sell personal data), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Other state-level rights in states including Colorado, Virginia, and Connecticut are recognised and honoured on request.
United Kingdom
For users located in the United Kingdom, we handle your personal data responsibly and in line with applicable UK data protection requirements. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@avacey.com.
European Union
For users located in the European Union, we handle your personal data responsibly and in line with applicable EU data protection requirements. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@avacey.com.
To exercise any data rights — including access, deletion, portability, or objection — submit a request to privacy@avacey.com with subject line "Data Rights Request". We will respond within the timeframe required by the laws applicable to your jurisdiction (generally 30–45 days).
We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Account data is retained for the duration of account activity and for a period of 3 years following account closure, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Service session records, including photo documentation and reports, are retained for 5 years to meet contractual, dispute resolution, and regulatory obligations. Financial and earnings records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and financial regulation in your jurisdiction, typically 7 years.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. Where deletion is not possible in full due to a legal obligation to retain certain records, we will inform you of what is retained and for how long.
We implement technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. These include encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest, hashed password storage, role-based access controls, regular penetration testing, and audit logging of access to sensitive data systems. Identity and verification data is stored with specialist-grade security controls appropriate to its sensitivity.
In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users and relevant supervisory authorities within the timeframe required by applicable law. In the EU and UK, this is 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. In the US, we comply with applicable state breach notification laws.
While we apply strong security controls, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security. We encourage all users to use strong, unique passwords and to enable two-factor authentication where available.
Acey uses essential cookies to operate the platform, maintain your login session, and prevent fraudulent access. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Analytics data is collected in a privacy-preserving manner, without individual user fingerprinting. Cookie preferences can be managed through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality.
We share personal data with third parties only where necessary to operate the platform, fulfil a legal obligation, or where you have provided consent. Categories of third-party recipients include: identity verification providers, payment processing partners, cloud infrastructure providers, and in limited cases fleet operator partners who receive service records relating to their own vehicles.
We do not sell personal data to third parties. We do not share data with advertisers. We do not permit third-party partners to use Acey user data for their own independent marketing purposes. All third-party data processors are bound by data processing agreements that require them to comply with applicable data protection law and our security standards.
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Acey platform, all associated websites, and any services provided through the AutopilotPartner Network. They apply to all account types: individual users, service specialists, vehicle owners, fleet operators, and business partners.
By creating an account on the Acey platform, clicking "Create Account", completing the signup flow, or otherwise accessing or using any part of the AutopilotPartner Network, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy above. If you do not agree, you must not create an account or use the platform.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and AutopilotPartner. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to all active account holders no fewer than 14 days before taking effect.
Age requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Acey platform in any capacity. Accounts found to have been created by individuals under 18 will be terminated without notice.
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@avacey.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You may not create an account on behalf of another individual without their knowledge and express consent. Organisations seeking to register multiple users must do so through the business account registration pathway. Sharing account credentials between multiple individuals is not permitted and may result in account suspension.
AutopilotPartner reserves the right to verify your identity, require additional documentation, and suspend or terminate your account if information provided is found to be false, incomplete, or in violation of these Terms.
All users of the Acey platform — regardless of account type — are required to conduct themselves with honesty, professionalism, and respect for others on the platform. The following conduct is expressly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination:
- Providing false information on your account profile, during verification, or in service session reports
- Impersonating another person, organisation, or Acey staff member
- Attempting to access systems, data, or account areas beyond your authorised scope
- Using the platform to facilitate any unlawful activity including fraud, theft, or harassment
- Circumventing the platform's matching, reporting, or payment systems
- Interfering with the platform's technical operation or introducing malicious code
- Soliciting other users to conduct transactions outside the platform in order to avoid fees
- Recording, capturing, or distributing any content observed through vehicle access that you are not authorised to share
- Using abusive, discriminatory, or threatening language in any platform interaction, including support communications
AutopilotPartner applies conduct standards consistently across all user types. Violation reports submitted by users, fleet operators, or automated systems are reviewed and acted upon. Consequences range from formal warning to permanent account termination depending on the severity and recurrence of the conduct.
Service specialists on the Acey platform operate as independent contractors. Nothing in these Terms or in the platform relationship creates an employment relationship between the specialist and AutopilotPartner. You are responsible for your own tax obligations, insurance (beyond session-specific coverage provided by Acey), and compliance with any licensing requirements in your jurisdiction relevant to the services you perform.
Onboarding Requirements
You must complete identity verification and background screening before being activated on the platform. You must complete all required training modules before accepting service requests. Submission of false documentation during onboarding constitutes immediate grounds for permanent termination and may be referred to relevant authorities.
Service Standards
When you accept a service request, you commit to attending at the agreed time, completing the task in accordance with Acey's service protocols, and submitting an accurate session report with supporting documentation. Accepted jobs that are abandoned without completing the task may incur a fee reversal for any partial payment issued and will affect your platform rating.
Vehicle Access and Conduct
Your access to a vehicle is limited strictly to the scope of the confirmed service task. Specialist conduct within or around a vehicle is subject to the Integrity Standards outlined on the Assist & Clean information page, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. Breach of vehicle access protocols may result in account termination, civil liability, and referral to law enforcement.
Earnings and Payment
Acey applies a $14/hr pay floor across all markets regardless of local statutory minimums. Final session fees are calculated based on the service type, duration, and any applicable market modifiers. Session fees are added to your account balance upon verified completion and are paid out via direct deposit on a weekly basis. AutopilotPartner reserves the right to withhold or reverse earnings in cases of disputed sessions, fraudulent reports, or violations of these Terms, pending resolution.
Registering your vehicle on the Acey platform means that vetted, trained service specialists may access your vehicle to perform services you or your fleet operator have authorised. You are responsible for ensuring that the vehicle information you provide is accurate and that the vehicle is accessible at the location specified in a service request.
You accept that service specialists are independent contractors, not employees of AutopilotPartner, and that Acey's liability in connection with any individual service session is limited to the session fee paid. You agree to use the platform's session reporting and dispute process to raise any concerns about service quality before seeking external remedies.
You must not use your RobotaxiON account to request services that are outside the defined service categories available on the platform. Requesting services not listed, or attempting to assign additional tasks to a specialist outside the platform's session scope, is a violation of these Terms.
Businesses accessing the Acey platform — including fleet operators, hospitality and location partners, and corporate accounts — are subject to these Terms in addition to any specific commercial agreement in place between their organisation and AutopilotPartner. In the event of a conflict, the terms of the commercial agreement prevail.
Fleet Operators
Fleet operators who integrate their operations with the Acey platform must designate an authorised account administrator responsible for the organisation's account conduct and for ensuring compliance with these Terms across all users associated with the business account. Fleet operators receive operational service records relating to their vehicles. These records must not be shared outside the organisation for commercial purposes without AutopilotPartner's written consent. Fleet operators may not use Acey-sourced service data to build competing platform functionality or to solicit Acey service specialists for services outside the platform.
Location and Hospitality Partners
Business locations that host Acey service operations on their premises agree to maintain a safe and accessible environment for service specialists operating under confirmed sessions. Partners are responsible for ensuring relevant site staff are aware of Acey operations and do not interfere with confirmed service sessions. AutopilotPartner's liability for incidents occurring on a partner site is limited to the scope of the confirmed session and the terms of the applicable commercial agreement.
API and System Integration
Businesses accessing Acey through an API or system integration agree to use the API solely for the purpose stated in their integration agreement. Automated scraping, data harvesting, or systematic extraction of platform data beyond what the API is designed to provide is strictly prohibited. AutopilotPartner reserves the right to revoke API access at any time without notice if misuse is detected.
Invoicing and Commercial Terms
Business account billing is governed by the commercial agreement and payment terms specified at the time of account activation. Payment is due within the period specified in the invoice. Late payment may result in suspension of service access until the outstanding balance is settled.
AutopilotPartner does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the Acey platform. The platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or circumstances outside our control. We will communicate planned maintenance periods in advance where possible. AutopilotPartner is not liable for losses resulting from planned or unplanned platform downtime.
The Acey platform is in active development. Features, service categories, pricing structures, and market availability may change. We will communicate material changes to users in affected markets. Continued use of the platform following a material change constitutes acceptance of the revised service offering.
All intellectual property in the Acey platform, including software, design, branding, content, and service methodology, is owned by or licensed to AutopilotPartner. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for its intended purpose in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform or its content without our express written permission.
Content you submit to the platform — including session reports, photographs, and reviews — remains your property but you grant AutopilotPartner a licence to use, store, and display that content for the purposes of operating the platform, resolving disputes, and improving service quality.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, AutopilotPartner's total liability to any user for any claim arising from or related to the use of the Acey platform is limited to the total fees paid to or received by the user through the platform in the 90 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
AutopilotPartner is not liable for: indirect, incidental, or consequential losses; loss of earnings beyond the session fee for any single session; damage to a vehicle or property caused by a service specialist (which is addressed through Acey's session insurance coverage); or losses resulting from platform unavailability, data loss, or third-party service failures.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Users in jurisdictions where statutory consumer protections apply retain all rights afforded by applicable law that cannot be contracted out of.
You may close your account at any time by submitting a request through the platform or by contacting support@avacey.com. Account closure will be processed within 14 days. Outstanding earnings will be paid out in the next regular payout cycle.
AutopilotPartner may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if you are found to have violated these Terms, particularly in cases involving fraud, safety risk, or conduct that poses a risk to other users, fleet operators, or the integrity of the platform. Where suspension is applied pending investigation, we will notify you of the reason and the expected timeline for resolution. You have the right to appeal a suspension or termination decision within 14 days of notification.
Upon termination, your access to the platform ceases immediately. Data retention following account closure is governed by the Privacy Policy above.
For users located in the United States, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any dispute not resolved through our internal dispute process will be subject to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where applicable law requires court proceedings.
For users located in the United Kingdom, we aim to resolve any dispute promptly and in good faith. Please contact legal@avacey.com in the first instance.
For users located in the European Union, we aim to resolve any dispute promptly and in good faith. Please contact legal@avacey.com in the first instance.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms at any time does not waive our right to enforce it in the future. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable commercial agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and AutopilotPartner with respect to your use of the platform.
These Terms are available in English. Where translations are provided, the English version prevails in the event of a conflict. These Terms were last updated on 1 January 2026. Questions about these Terms should be directed to legal@avacey.com.
